Questions we get asked
Open a question to read its answer. If yours is not here, WhatsApp is the fastest way to an answer.
How do I pay?
You order first, then message or call us with your order number. We confirm the piece is still available and send you the payment details in that conversation — they are not printed on the site, so nobody pays for a garment that has already gone. There is no card payment and no gateway; nothing is charged automatically.
Why are the payment numbers not on the site?
Because a piece can sell while you are still on the page. Speaking to us first means we check the rail before you send anything, so you never pay twice or pay for something that is gone. It takes one message and it is the whole reason the shop runs this way.
When will you confirm my order?
Usually within a few hours during working hours, and always the same day if you order before 18:00. Every order is checked and answered by hand — there is no automated dispatch.
Why is there no size to choose?
Every piece is cut generously and listed with its own flat measurements — length, bust, sleeve and hem sweep. One stock count covers the whole piece. Send your height on WhatsApp and we will tell you how it will fall.
What does “only one left” mean?
Exactly that. Pieces are made in runs of four to eight, and the number on the page is what is physically on the rail. When you place an order the piece comes off sale immediately and is held for 24 hours while we confirm and you pay.
Can I get a sold-out piece re-made?
Sometimes. Fabric is bought in small lots, so a re-make may come back in a different colour or weight. Ask on WhatsApp with the piece name and we will tell you what is possible.
How much is delivery?
Dar es Salaam is TZS 5,000 and arrives in 1–2 days. Arusha, Mwanza and Dodoma are TZS 8,000 by bus parcel, 2–3 days, with the bus fare paid on arrival. Anywhere else in Tanzania is quoted on WhatsApp. Pickup in Mikocheni is free.
Can I return something?
Unworn, tags on, within seven days — message us first so we know it is coming. Return transport is yours. If the piece was wrong or faulty, it is ours and we cover it.
Do you ship outside Tanzania?
Not through the website yet. We have sent pieces to Nairobi and Kampala by arrangement — message us and we will quote the courier before you pay anything.
